Chelsea Schmelz is a seasoned HR professional with over a decade of experience in Human Resources and Management.  In her most recent role as Vice President of Touchdown Business Solutions she led the Talent Acquisition Team, recruiting top talent and focusing on business development and improvement. She is a graduate of Bellarmine University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (HR Emphasis), as well as holds her PHR – Professional in Human Resource – Certification. Prior to working with Touchdown Business Solutions, Chelsea worked as the site HR Generalist for Valmont Coatings – Gateway Galvanizing for 6.5 years. Chelsea enjoys cross-stitching and attending concerts in her spare time and resides in New Salisbury with her husband, James, and their adorable son, Jaxon.

As the 2025 President of SISHRM, her role is to support the chapter in all areas, as well as to ensure the chapter completes and hits all goals that pertain to our SHAPE initiatives.

Glen Mattingly is a people-centric leader who delivers organizational development and performance management solutions that help teams reach their full potential.  He strives to understand people at all levels in an organization to get to the root of every situation, good or bad.  He believes cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and a customer service mentality in all they do empowers employees to perform at their best.  Glen is currently Director of Human Resources for Amatrol in Jeffersonville, Indiana and its affiliated companies, DAC Worldwide in Swedesboro NJ and Bayport Technical in LaPorte TX.  Glen obtained his MBA in Human Resources from Northcentral University and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Cindy Mahoney has specialized in Human Resources/Safety for 25+ years with many years in manufacturing facilities. She holds her BA in Human Resources Business Management from Sullivan University and is dual certified with her SHRM CP and PHR.  Cindy retired from the  Army Reserves after 35 years as a  First Sergeant, Culinary Specialist Instructor and Site Course Manager.  She stays busy spending time with her dog, (Giz), family, friends, reading, gardening and helping others. She has been a member of SI SHRM for 10+ years and a 1st Vice Commander for a local American Legion.  She is the  Regional Business Service Team Manager for Southern Indiana Works where she can help local employers with many of their HR needs especially in recruiting, job fairs and utilizing Workforce Development Grant Opportunities.

Alysa Lambert

Alysa D. Lambert, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a Professor of Human Resource Management and Director of Graduate Business Programs in the School of Business at Indiana University Southeast, New Albany, IN. She received her PhD from the State University of New York at Albany in Organizational Studies, specializing in Human Resource Management. Her major research and teaching interests focus in human resources, specifically in work-life balance issues and improving classroom pedagogy. She has published work in the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Managerial Issues, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Human Resource Management, and Applied Psychology in Criminal Justice. She is an active member of the community mostly recently serving on the SI-SHRM board.

Christy Miley, SHRM-CP

Christy Miley is the Human Resources Coordinator | Office Administrator for TowerPinkster’s Indiana and Kentucky offices, located at 320 Pearl Street, Suite 100, New Albany, IN 47150.  With over 34 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, Christy began her career in 1991 with KoverHawkins Architects, where she managed all HR functions independently. Following the merger with TowerPinkster in 2021, she joined the expanded Human Resources department, which has since grown to a team of four.  Human resources is her passion, and she finds fulfillment in making a difference within her workplace. She enjoys helping staff members navigate concerns by providing new perspectives that empower them to create their own solutions. Christy is dedicated to encouraging others to recognize their potential and strives to make a positive impact every day, believing that everyone has the power to "make it a great day."  She takes great pride in her community and consistently seeks opportunities for personal and civic growth. Over the years, she has served as a Girl Scout Leader, PTA and Booster Club Board Member, Student Mentor Mii, Cat+Dog Fosterer, and escort kayaker for triathlon swimmers. Additionally, she has been involved with Kentuckiana Junior Achievement programs and has served as a board member for Leadership Southern Indiana (LSI).

Experienced professional with over 30 years in sales and performance management, specializing in training, coaching, and team development. Skilled in inventory control, compensation plan management, and implementing product and process updates. Proven ability to maintain strict cash handling policies, ensure security compliance, and manage expenses effectively. Teresa also has provided administrative support, general accounting, bookkeeping, and above all else, building strong professional networks.

Rachel has a B.S. Degree from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership & Supervision.  She has spent her career in a variety of different environments and has learned a lot in each one.  She has worked in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Accounting, Small private companies and the restaurant industry. She lives in Sellersburg, IN with her husband, 2 teenage children, a dog (Holly) and a cat (Gracie) and her Mother-in-law.  Her family is involved in multiple hobbies to include archery and bowling.  

Rachel is actively seeking employment as she was recently part of a layoff.  

This is Rachel's 3rd term serving as Membership Director for the local chapter.

Mary Rone is the Human Resource & Benefits Manager for Dr Black's Eye Associates, headquartered in Jeffersonville, IN.  She has over 24 years of Human Resource experience as a generalist.  Mary’s main work experience has been in small privately held companies where she was the “One-Stop” HR Manager specializing in a wide range of HR functions including OSHA compliance, Onboarding, Payroll, Performance Management, Benefit Design and Execution and Corporate Recruiting.  She currently has a staff of three and runs HR for 230 employees.  Mary started her HR career with employee staffing giant, Kelly Services.  She has been with Dr Black's since July of 2020. She and her husband, Greg, are active members of First Baptist Church, Charlestown, IN.  Their family consists of two adult children, and three "perfect" grandchildren!  Mary’s hobbies are raising dahlias, reading mystery novels and being a Grandma.

As the Certification Director Mary runs the fall certification program.

Trent Taylor

Trent Taylor is an associate attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP. Licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Indiana, Trent focuses his practice on labor and employment. Trent works with clients of various sizes throughout all aspects of pre-litigation investigation, litigation, and assisting with charges in front of several agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Kentucky Commission on Human Rights, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. He has helped clients by handling complex issues involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and many other state and federal statutes and regulations. Trent's experience includes drafting motions, briefs, discovery, demand letters, mediation statements, and settlement agreements on behalf of clients. He also handles various other matters, including taking and defending depositions and attending court hearings. Outside of litigation, Trent enjoys advising and counseling employers in all aspects of employment law, including training, policies and procedures, investigations, human resource actions, and compliance during mergers or sales.
